If you go shopping take time to stop to a bar/cafe/restaurant in the "Victor Hugo market" (first floor) for a very "Toulousain" lunch of cured canard breast, cured ham, cheese, butter, baguette, olives, and a meal of ternera (big ol' hunk of steak) and frites.
