Early in the morning


Le Canal du Midi is classified henceforth to the world heritage of the UNESCO. Pierre-Paul Riquet (1609-1680), baron de Bonrepos, undertake in 1662 the survey of the construction of the channel of the two seas, joining the Mediterranean Sea to the Atlantic Ocean.

Nice shot!!!! I think the mist reinforces the feeling of a mistery place. I did not see such a beautiful picture from the Canal du Midi in a long time. I almost feel homesick now ;)
