Early in the morning


Le Canal du Midi is classified henceforth to the world heritage of the UNESCO. Pierre-Paul Riquet (1609-1680), baron de Bonrepos, undertake in 1662 the survey of the construction of the channel of the two seas, joining the Mediterranean Sea to the Atlantic Ocean.

Beautiful picture. Odd too that the demand for order applied by the "Administration française" can still come up with natural-looking artefacts. Makes me want to get on me butty boat...
