There was a strong wind this week. This plane tree could not resist. It has been uproot and it fell on the canal. it can almost be used as footbridge.

I must agree, there was a windy day just a few days ago. It almost did blew me away on my way to the supermarket!
It must have been dangerous! Fortunately no one was hurt! It's along Canal du Midi.
I have went to the Fair today, unfortunately due to the rain, most of the stalls are close. Hopefully tomorrow's weather will be fine, as I will be checking it out again! Looks interesting, definitely a nice place to meet great people!

Celui-là est tombé tout seul, mais d'autres sont menacés d'être tronçonnés pour faire passer une route et un "vrai" pont dans le secteur...
Je me suis balladee le long de ce canal il y a quelques années. Magnifique. Est-ce que les platanes sont malades aussi, comme dans d'autres coins du midi, ou 'juste' menacés de la tronçonneuse ?

Dure est la vie des platanes.. c'est trop souvent les tronçonneuses et certains esprits animé de destruction qui font des ravages!
