Toulouse, having a population of over 750,000 people, is the fourth biggest city in France (after Paris, Lyon, Marseille).
It is situated in the Haute Garonne department in the Midi-Pyrenees region.
In the south west of France, the city is about 150kms from the Spanish border,
and the Mediterranean is just over an hour away.
