Is he advertising something or just plainly looking for attention??!
I love the idea of banners streaming from behind bicycle riders.
One of the greatest visual events that I have seen is from the late Akira Kurosawa's movie 'Ran'. 'Ran' was an interpretation of Shakespeare's King Lear. The samurai cavalry had traditional banners flying from a pole attached to the back of their armor. The movie scene was a flowing, entwining sea of color - magnificent!
A large group of bicyclists flying colorful banners would make beautiful photographs! Let's encourage it! :-)
